Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 August 2026
Diplocraft is a Minecraft server and this site is its account hub. This policy covers this website. It is written to match what the site actually does, not what a template assumes.
What we collect
- Your Discord user id, username and avatar. That is the core of your identity here. Sign-in always uses Discord’s
identifyscope. We do not receive your email address or a list of other servers you are in. If the community join gate is on, we also ask Discord whether you are a member of our community server (and may request permission for our bot to add you there). That check is about our server only. We do not keep your Discord access token after sign-in finishes. - Your public profile on this site: a stable handle, optional short bio, founder number, and (when linking opens) a Minecraft name. Other signed-in players can see that profile. Your Discord username and avatar are shown with it.
- Your Minecraft username and UUID, only if you choose to link your account, and only via a code you generate in game. We never ask for or receive your Mojang or Microsoft credentials. Linking is not open yet; when it is, this is what it will store.
- Who invited you, if you arrive on a share link. A short-lived cookie remembers the referrer handle; when you sign up we store that as recruit credit on your account. It is not used for advertising.
- A session cookie holding only your signed account id, so you stay signed in. No third-party or advertising cookies are set.
What we never hold
No passwords. There is nothing to set, so there is nothing to leak. No email address. Discord handles authentication, and their privacy policy covers what happens on their side.
What we do not do
No analytics products, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers, no third-party embeds that profile you. We do not sell your data.
Why we hold it
To let you sign in, to show who is founding the world, to attribute invites, to connect a website account to an in-game identity when linking opens, and to keep the project running. That is the whole purpose. If that ever expands, this page will say so before it happens.
How long
For as long as the project needs it. The world’s public history (foundings, wars, territory changes) is permanent by design and is attached to in-game names, not to an email address.
Your choices
When Minecraft linking is available, you will be able to unlink it from your account settings. You can stop using the site at any time by signing out.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. Discord and Minecraft also have their own age rules.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes. We will also say so in the Diplocraft Discord. We cannot email you about it because we do not have your email.
Diplocraft is an independent project and is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.
